  • the eldest son of Solomon son of Haj Daoud son of Sheikh Sulaiman Al- Qasab, dubbed al Faydi. He was born in al-Zubayr district in Basra. His father was a lawyer and a deputy of the Ottoman Province of Basra in 1914
  • He established a school for girls and a home for the elderly. He authored and published many books on constitutional laws, proverbs and musings. He was elected deputy in 1935 in the House of Representatives under theministry of Yassin al- Hashemi

  • participated in the 1948 Palestine War
  • appointed a doctor in the district of Kut
